What I Wore To NYFW As A Sustainable Influencer

 
 

Though I do cringe at the title,“influencer,” I’m doing my best to reclaim its original meaning: to influence over on my sustainable fashion and lifestyle platform, @thatcurlytop. I want to use my influence for good, including (and especially) at fashion week.

As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I believe fashion weeks allow us to celebrate creativity, and are the perfect place for us sustainable baddies to show the fashion world at large that sustainable style is far from boring. Of course, I wanted to express that through my various outfits, assembled from secondhand, borrowed, DIY’ed, and sustainably designed pieces. 

Now that the whirlwind of NYFW has come to an end, I write to you, from the comfort of my bed, in pajamas, of everything I wore this past week:
