I am wearing my bright pink parade undies, adidas pants I thrifted off my roommate, and this weird rainbow filtered shirt I got at Beacon’s, with my trusty orange sunglasses I got at a vintage store in Philly.
Dress in what makes you feel good, and when you show up to the parade, the march, or the all-night dance party, you’re guaranteed a better time. And having a good time as our whole selves is what Pride Month is all about. Don’t buy something you’ll only be able to wear for one Saturday during the one month when the rest of the heteronormative world has to STFU. The most sustainable garments we can buy are ones we will wear for a lifetime.
