Join Sustainable Baddie and Laiyonelth Hurtado, an afro-Colombian artist and Remake ambassador based in Brooklyn, for an afternoon of community and block printing by the water near the Williamsburg pier, making waves of solidarity for Gaza*. Bring your old garments and turn them into unique pieces, with prints allusive to the summer time—fruits, vegetables, you name it!
Block printing is an ancestral form of art making that has helped people tell stories of love, joy, tradition, migration, and everything else that makes us human! The process of block printing is also a form of resistance, one that refuses the constant industrialization of everything by embracing the slowness and intentionality of handwork.
We recommend you bring the following pieces:
White tanks
Denim pants, shorts, or shirts
Any plain/basic T’s
Totes
Anything else in your wardrobe. Block printing can pretty much be done on anything :)
Natural fabrics are best for block printing but synthetics will work too.
*A percentage of the proceeds from this event will go towards Palestinian relief. See you on the 17th.

As a small business run by a dedicated team, Sustainable Baddie deeply values each and every customer. However, due to our limited resources and operational capacity, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate refunds or cancellations for ticket purchases under any circumstances. We operate with careful consideration of our resources and cannot afford the financial setbacks associated with refunds or cancellations.
Tickets cannot be exchanged for another event, date, or time after purchase.
In the rare circumstance that an event is postponed or rescheduled, purchased tickets will be honored for the new date and time. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, please contact hello@sustainablebaddie.com for assistance.
Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals, no-shows, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
